Description

You will manage database environments with a heavy focus on complex SQL development, performance tuning, and administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server and/or DB2 environments, including backups, restores, and replication.
• Implement performance tuning strategies and monitor database health.
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models using modeling tools.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application interfaces and data integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with expert-level SQL skills.
• Deep understanding of relational database concepts and RDBMS fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or DB2 administration.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio or ERwin.
• Experience with database interfaces and integrations.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to third-party tools like Pentaho or Tosca.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
