Description

You will own the technical maintenance and operational stability of the SQL Server database environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SQL Server instances, selecting settings based on organizational requirements.
• Fine-tune database systems by optimizing query performance, indexing, and caching for scalability.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships with development teams.
• Develop and implement backup/recovery strategies, regularly testing procedures and high availability solutions.
• Ensure all DBA deliverables meet project schedules and budgets while managing DBA resources against supply and demand.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Ms Sql Server and Ms Sql Db Administration.
• Experience designing, building, and implementing SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in monitoring database performance using built-in and third-party tools.
• Ability to implement and enforce organizational policies related to SQL Server administration.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOX documentation and security access procedures.
• Familiarity with implementing high availability solutions (e.g., clustering, Always On).
