Description

You will design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server environments and data warehouse architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement normalized logical and physical data models for data warehouse environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and performance tuning using monitoring tools and query execution plans.
• Develop complex stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and data load scripts.
• Manage database upgrades to SQL Server 2019 and maintain high-availability through backup and recovery practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL jobs, SSIS packages, and overall database performance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server versions 2008 through 2019.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Experience designing, tuning, and indexing tables and complex queries.
• Proven ability to manage database setups, upgrades, and source control interfacing for maintenance scripts.
• Experience working within a VMware environment.
• Knowledge of Windows OS administration, firewalls, networks, and servers.
• Skills in database partitioning and performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical database impacts to customers of varying expertise.
