Description

You will manage and support the SQL Server database platform for a large organization, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within live production environments.
• Manage SQL Server clustering, replication, and log shipping configurations.
• Execute database capacity planning, backup strategies, and recovery methods.
• Maintain database mirroring, user roles, and security monitoring protocols.
• Support business operations through a 24/7 rotation schedule.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of Database Administration experience.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Strong Transact-SQL (T-SQL) skills.
• Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS).
• Advanced performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience with PowerShell and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Background in financial services.
