Description

You will design, build, and deploy Azure SQL PaaS and IaaS solutions to meet application requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure SQL solutions including Azure SQL DB, Managed Instance, and Hyperscale.
• Automate database builds using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Manage high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and performance tuning strategies.
• Monitor database health and performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for database issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server DBA tasks and MS SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL DB and managing Azure SQL PaaS/IaaS environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Ability to design HA and DR strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating on capacity planning, licensing, and cost governance.
• Ability to enforce database security, compliance, and encryption policies.
• Experience mentoring junior DBAs and contributing to long-term database strategy.
