Description

Develop and manage database backend projects within the US healthcare insurance segment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL code for EDW and RDBMS environments.
• Execute data migration and integration tasks specifically for dental health benefits administration.
• Perform database fine-tuning and resolve performance bottlenecks using profilers.
• Automate processes and manage data formats including EDI 83X, JSON, and XML.
• Ensure all development complies with HIPAA, PHI, PII, and information security standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and EDW.
• Strong expertise in RDBMS including Oracle, MS-SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Advanced SQL skills including Joins, CTEs, and semi-structured data handling.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake queries and PostgreSQL development.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and SSIS.
• Knowledge of healthcare domain requirements, specifically Medicaid dental/vision benefits.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of C#.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with dental health benefits administration and EDI 83X formats.
