Description

You will manage data integration and development tasks across SQL Server and Hadoop environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, queries, and DDLs within SQL Server.
• Build SSIS packages to connect to sources, perform data transformations, and implement logging.
• Move and massage data between SQL Server and Hadoop environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications using SDLC, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Analyze data metrics to identify issues and define reporting requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
• Proficiency in writing stored procedures and object-oriented SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, including source connectivity and transformation logic.
• Experience with Hadoop, including querying Hive data.
• Ability to enrich data using Spark.
• Python scripting skills for data tasks.
• Experience working within Jira and standard SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree.
