Description

You will own data cleanup for the Data Quality Enhancement initiative and broader development efforts.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze database structures and relationships to ensure data integrity.
• Write and execute SQL update and insert statements to clean and optimize data.
• Automate and expedite data cleansing processes using specialized tools and techniques.
• Document cleanup workflows and provide regular progress updates to the data team.
• Execute special projects as directed by the Chief Operating Officer or Data Officer.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server development experience.
• Expertise in writing complex queries, data manipulation statements, and stored procedures.
• Deep understanding of indexing, query optimization, and transaction handling.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets to identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Experience with data cleansing tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server Data Quality Services, Trifacta, Talend, or Alteryx.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with ETL and automated data transformation techniques.
