Role Overview:

This role is for a skilled SQL Server Developer specializing in ETL and database automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SSIS packages, optimizing T-SQL queries, and creating PowerShell scripts for various database and system maintenance tasks. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for ETL workflows and data integration.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate database tasks, file transfers, user provisioning, and system maintenance.
• Integrate data processes with Active Directory for authentication, group membership checks, and access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SSIS packages, SQL Server jobs, and automation scripts.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application, and security teams.
• Monitor and tune database performance; analyze and optimize long-running queries and jobs.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in T-SQL, including query optimization and stored procedures.
• Solid experience in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, including user/group management and LDAP queries.
• Experience with job scheduling, error handling, and ETL best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in SQL Server development and SSIS.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SSRS or ETL solutions.
• Experience with access provisioning, or Active Directory automation via PowerShell.
• Understanding of DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git) and Agile methodologies.
