Description

Lead ETL development and data warehousing initiatives using SQL, SSIS, and Azure technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses.
• Design and implement data warehouse models, including star schema, snowflake schema, and dimension hierarchies.
• Automate ETL processes and data manipulation using scripting languages.
• Optimize SQL database architecture, data modeling, normalization, and performance.
• Ensure data integrity through rigorous cleansing, profiling, and validation techniques.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a lead capacity focusing on SQL, SSIS, ETL, and Big Data.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft SSIS.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka.
• 3+ years of experience designing data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools like Power BI for Synapse Data Warehouse reporting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Strong background in SQL database architecture and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing data workflows within Azure DevOps.
