Description

Lead ETL development and data warehousing initiatives within an Azure cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Build ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft SSIS to extract, transform, and load data into warehouses.
• Design and implement data warehouse models, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and dimension hierarchies.
• Automate ETL processes and data manipulation using Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Develop data visualizations and reports in Power BI using Synapse Data Warehouse.
• Execute data cleansing, profiling, and validation techniques to maintain data integrity.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience, including 4 years in a lead capacity.
• 3 years of experience in the past 4 years working with SQL database architecture, data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization.
• 3 years of experience in the past 4 years working with Microsoft Azure Cloud, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
• 3 years of experience in the past 4 years designing and developing data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• 3 years of experience in the past 4 years with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka.
• 3 years of experience in the past 4 years using Power BI for data visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
