Description

You will provide technical guidance and support for database systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, tune, implement, and upgrade DBMS installations.
• Write and deploy SQL patches.
• Monitor all systems, including work processes, users, logs, and disk space.
• Ensure production uptime service levels via backup, recovery, tuning, and security.
• Provide routine maintenance, including defect analysis, object management, and space management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Expertise in Installation, Upgrade & Patching of SAP ASE/Sybase, Redis, and Postgres.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, Shell, and Ansible.
• Experience with database replication, including setup and failover troubleshooting.
• Ability to design new databases based on data storage needs and user load.
• Experience with schema creation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Skill in troubleshooting platform-specific performance issues and debugging scripts.
