Description

You will lead complex SQL Server migrations and architect database solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure Database Migrations by providing technical guidance, management, and governance to the team.
• Configure SQL Server HA/DR solutions, including FCI and Availability Groups, across multiple subnets and regions in Azure.
• Execute migrations from on-premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, log shipping, and backup/restore methods.
• Design cloud solutions for large-scale migrations and manage storage and capacity planning.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SQL Server versions 200x through 2022 on Windows and Linux landscapes.
• Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to define migration requirements and technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years focused on Azure Database Migration.
• Expertise in configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, and Backup/restore.
• Proficiency in configuring SQL Server security, policies, resource governing, and Azure Key Vault.
• Deep understanding of Windows and Linux server landscapes and SQL Server troubleshooting.
• Ability to create logical and physical data models.
• Capacity to provide 24x7 support and work flexible shifts.
• Any graduate degree.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate.
• DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions.
• AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
