Description

You will develop, optimize, and validate database solutions for BI delivery.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and performance tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
• Evaluate business requirements, conduct Proofs of Concept (POC), and identify data anomalies in source systems.
• Perform end-to-end data validation to ensure quality data delivery for BI solutions.
• Batch process data using scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Unix.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in Database Development using Packages, Stored Procedures, and Triggers in SQL and PL/SQL.
• 7-10 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star, and Snowflake Schema design and maintenance.
• 7+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Expert data modeling skills (conceptual, logical, physical design).
• Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, PLSQL, T-SQL, and Python.
• Experience with project tracking tools like Jira and GitHub.
• Ability to work on ad-hoc requests and manage simultaneous projects.
• Familiarity with source systems including Salesforce (SOQL) or NetSuite.
