Description

You will lead complex engineering projects from design through test, ensuring technical execution aligns with schedule and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional project teams to define technical requirements, manage risks, and resolve ambiguously defined challenges.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, cost estimates, and budgets for the design, development, and manufacture of mechanical systems.
• Interface with vendors to manage technical requirements and present project status to customers, operators, and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate issues effectively with leadership and resolve conflicts tactfully within a matrix organization.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, sciences, technology, or mathematics).
• Minimum 6 years of direct engineering experience in design, development, manufacture, or testing of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to manage project performance, technical execution, and risk/opportunity development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently, prioritize resources, and lead teams to resolution under strict schedules.
• Results-oriented approach with a bias toward creative thinking in product design and daily work.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of gas turbine engine maintenance procedures.
• Firsthand knowledge of the TPE331 turboprop engine.
