Description

You lead the technical execution for new product development within the Honeywell Embedded GPS/INS product line.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse engineering team executing technical work for new product development.
• Interface with Program Manager, Systems Engineer, and IPT leads to coordinate technical and programmatic status and issues.
• Develop and track Earned Value Management (EVM) for schedule, cost, and milestones.
• Develop and report on project metrics.
• Assess and drive program achievement by detecting problems early and implementing course correction.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in electronic systems design engineering or project leadership.
• Background in DO-178 and DO-254 or similar safety critical certification standards.
• Demonstrated Earned Value Management skills.
• Experience in the Aerospace or a similar safety critical industry.
• Expertise in Embedded GPS/INS.
• Familiarity with Program Manager and Systems Engineer roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related Engineering degree.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain DoD clearance due to export controls and ITAR products.
