Description

You will build and maintain the core data repository serving as the single source of truth for business and analytics teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models by collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience stakeholders.
• Write and maintain dbt code to advance the Unified Analytics Model.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) for all data assets.
• Review code contributions, mentor junior developers, and drive improvements in code quality and development practices.
• Write test cases to ensure data quality and manage CI/CD practices to automate code delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience delivering data assets.
• Advanced SQL skills, including debugging and query performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and normalization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation.
• Proficiency with git and version control workflows.
• Experience with major cloud data warehouses (GCloud, Azure, or AWS).
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical data models.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with BigQuery.
• 1+ year of specific experience working with dbt.
