Lead QA strategy and end-to-end validation for Anaplan planning models, ensuring data integrity across enterprise platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios for Anaplan modules, lists, and processes.
• Validate model-to-model, model-to-data hub, and model-to-target system integrations using Anaplan Connect, APIs, and Airflow.
• Perform regression, UAT, and performance testing on planning cycles and connected planning workflows.
• Lead end-to-end QA strategy, maintaining test plans, traceability matrices, and defect management records.
• Drive quality reviews, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements in collaboration with product owners and data engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in techno-functional consulting with strong expertise in Anaplan (Model Builder L3+).
• Deep understanding of Anaplan model structures, formulas, actions, imports/exports, and ALM.
• Experience with QA for functional and technical testing, including APIs, data ingestion, and scheduled jobs.
• Proficiency in testing integrations via Anaplan Connect, APIs, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of data flows and validation across ETL/ELT pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to translate business rules into test cases for FP&A, supply chain, or sales planning domains.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or related fields.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and integration layers connected to Anaplan or downstream systems.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTest, Postman, and Selenium for automated testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and analytics platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
