Description

You will design and maintain automation frameworks to ensure high test coverage for Android applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-quality automation tests using Ruby and Calabash.
• Write clear, readable acceptance tests in Cucumber for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and test engineering teams to design scalable automation solutions.
• Participate in automation script code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Monitor test metrics and communicate results to key stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Ruby.
• Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Calabash and Cucumber.
• Strong experience with Android applications.
• Proficiency with Ruby package managers like Bundler for dependency management.
• Experience working with XML, JSON, and REST for API consumption.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration (Jenkins or GO) and Continuous Deployment (Gradle).
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Practical application of TDD, BDD, and DevOps principles.
