You will design and build advanced Android applications with a focus on robustness and usability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate remote data sources, APIs, and REST/JSON services.
• Fix bugs and optimize application performance through benchmarking and memory tuning.
• Write unit tests covering edge cases to ensure code reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in Android app development.
• Deep experience with the Android SDK.
• Proven track record of publishing at least one original Android app.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and the mobile development life cycle.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of UI/UX standards and web technologies.
