Description

You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle for Android applications, translating business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications following natural user interfaces and Google’s Android design principles.
• Optimize performance through benchmarking, threading, and offline storage management.
• Integrate Android applications with back-end services using RESTful APIs and cloud message APIs.
• Manage low-level system integrations including telephony, IMS registration, and sensor data.
• Provide technical leadership and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK across various versions.
• Strong understanding of Android framework, library components, and UI design patterns.
• Expertise in multi-threading, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML for dynamic data handling.
• Knowledge of Android JNI and NDK concepts.
• Hands-on experience with push notifications and cloud message APIs.
• Familiarity with sensors including gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Experience with Android telephony (LTE, CDMA, VoLTE, VoWiFi) and connectivity (Bluetooth, WiFi).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries.
• Domain expertise in RIL and Android telephony protocols.
