Description

You will lead the design, development, and troubleshooting of internal Android applications and new technology projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, concise, stable, and unit-tested code that meets production requirements and design specifications.
• Diagnose complex issues, evaluate potential resolutions, and execute fixes.
• Implement new features within an Agile delivery methodology following established architectural principles.
• Mentor and advise other members of the engineering team.
• Collaborate with developers, quality engineers, product owners, and project managers.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of Android application development experience.
• Extensive production experience with native Android application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Gradle.
• Experience building large-scale, complex Android applications optimized for UX and performance.
• Experience with architectural patterns and large-scale mobile projects.
• 2+ years of web services development using REST, JSON, and XML.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Agile software development and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• 7+ years of Android development experience.
• Working knowledge of telecom technologies such as 5G, CBRS, 4G, or LTE.
