You will build and maintain native Android applications using modern architectural standards and development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Design and implement REST-based JSON APIs and integrate them with mobile clients.
• Apply UX guidelines and API design best practices to ensure high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborate with product owners and peers to solve technical problems and convey solutions.
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM workflows to deliver features within a team environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Competency with GitHub Actions and Slack for DevOps workflows.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful services and JSON data handling.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a SCRUM-based Agile environment.
