Description

You will own the design, development, documentation, and troubleshooting of the Connection Manager application and related Android technology projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, concise, stable, and unit-tested code that is extensible and meets production requirements.
• Implement new features within an Agile delivery methodology following established architectural principles.
• Diagnose complex issues, evaluate potential resolutions, and execute the best fix.
• Communicate technical details and progress with developers, quality engineers, product owners, and project managers.
• Mentor and advise other engineering team members.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall application development experience.
• 7+ years of native Android application development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Gradle, and the Android SDK.
• 3+ years of web services development experience using REST, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency in building large-scale, complex Android applications optimized for UX and performance.
• Experience making critical architectural decisions and providing technical direction for a development team.
• Experience working on large-scale mobile projects using complex architectural patterns.
• Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD practices, and test-driven development or automated testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
