Description

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance Android applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable Android applications using modern design patterns.
• Lead the development and launch of product features from definition to delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and manage testing processes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate new technologies, libraries, and tools to improve development workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and mobile design patterns.
• Proficiency with Git and managing complex branching strategies in large-scale projects.
• Experience working within Agile development processes and teams.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reactive architecture including RxAndroid and RxJava.
• Experience with Espresso Framework and UI testing.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Amplitude, LaunchDarkly, or Firebase.
