Description

You will design and build high-quality applications for the Android platform, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications across different layers of the Android stack, ensuring responsiveness and performance.
• Develop reusable UI components and identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features, maintaining code quality and continuous integration systems.
• Unit test code, document deliverables, and publish apps to the Google Play Store.

Required Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in mobile development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals.
• Solid knowledge of Design Patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and connecting to back-end services.
• Knowledge of encryption, data protection, and JSON Web Token (JWT) authorization.
• Experience with push notifications and Google’s Android design principles.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Working knowledge of Jira and API testing with Postman.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MCA, or an equivalent field.
