Description

Build and maintain complex Android applications using modern development practices and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain two or more Android applications within the ecosystem.
• Debug applications to identify memory leaks and performance bottlenecks using ADB and Proguard.
• Implement UI components following Material Design guidelines and mobile UX patterns.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs into mobile workflows.
• Apply architectural patterns like MVVM to ensure code testability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and multi-threading.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and Android Arch-components.
• Hands-on experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, and Picasso.
• Knowledge of functional and reactive programming paradigms.
• Proficiency with Git and Continuous Integration workflows.
• Familiarity with background processing APIs and Custom Views.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Accessibility Services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
