Description

Build and improve mobile applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile network clients using HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Implement features using Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests for Android code.
• Debug software using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Optimize code for embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Android software development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin for mobile software development.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Android SDK and architectural design.
• Hands-on experience with Git or GitHub for version control.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Proven track record of publishing an Android application.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
