Description

Lead the development and maintenance of native Android applications within a large codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient solutions by collaborating with product owners and stakeholders.
• Debug complex flows and improve code quality across large existing codebases.
• Maintain high standards for code performance and quality under strict deadlines.
• Implement business requirements using Agile Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Android and Kotlin development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and MVVM design patterns.
• Deep understanding of Kotlin Coroutines, Jetpack components, Databinding, and Navigation.
• Hands-on experience with RxJava2 and Dagger2.
• Expertise in Gradle, Android Studio, and Git/GitHub.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito or PowerMock.
• Experience consuming Web APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and JaCoCo.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Proven portfolio of native Android applications you have built or significantly contributed to.
