Description

You will architect, design, and develop native Android applications for high-volume transactional environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop native mobile applications, including new features and standalone apps.
• Build automation and tests to streamline the code-to-cash pipeline.
• Create organizational standards for Android development best practices and reusable libraries.
• Develop rapid prototypes to showcase potential new features and application concepts.
• Collaborate with agile teams to identify dependencies and opportunities for automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a full-time software developer or engineer.
• 3+ years of native Android experience.
• 3+ years of Java experience and 2+ years of Kotlin experience.
• Extensive experience with MVVM and MVP design patterns.
• Proficiency with Dagger, Retrofit, RxJava, and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience with automated testing platforms, unit testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous processing and object-oriented programming.
• Proven experience promoting apps to the Google Play Store and following Material Design guidelines.
• Proficient understanding of Git and the full automated development, build, and promote process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Assistant and Actions on Google.
• Programming experience with React, AWS Lambda, Python, Go, Swift, or Bash.
• Experience with GraphQL, event-driven architectures, or microservices.
