Description

Develop and optimize scalable Android applications, owning the engineering lifecycle from discovery to production.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects, ensuring high-quality code through peer reviews and team collaboration.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, including memory leaks and performance bottlenecks, using tools like DDMS and MAT.
• Implement robust MVVM architectures and design patterns to support scalable business solutions.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Espresso to ensure application stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building mobile software or scalable ecommerce applications.
• Extensive proficiency in Android SDK and Kotlin development.
• Strong working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for distributed source code version control.
• Proficiency in MVVM architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong debugging skills using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience optimizing for embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
