Lead the development of complex, high-quality Android applications in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Android applications using established design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Integrate mobile clients with microservices using REST-based APIs and distributed systems.
• Drive a shift-left, test-driven development approach to ensure application stability.
• Optimize application performance, battery life, and device-specific capabilities.
• Communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building complex Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android platform.
• Experience with MVP and MVVM architectures.
• Expertise in RxJava, RxBinding, and Dependency Injection.
• Experience with Dagger 2 and Picasso.
• Proficiency in writing tests using JUnit and Espresso.
• Strong understanding of REST architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Java, or Spring.
• Test automation experience with Selenium or Appium.
• Continuous Integration experience using Jenkins.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher.
