Description

Build native Android applications for field mapping and UAV mission planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Design systems utilizing SOA, REST, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
• Manage data persistence through relational and NoSQL database design.
• Implement full-scope test automation including unit, behavioral, functional, and integration tests via JUnit.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through design thinking and rapid feedback loops to refine application features.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Native Android development expertise using Kotlin.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• System design experience with SOA, REST, GraphQL, or Microservices.
• Relational and NoSQL database design and access, specifically PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Firebase.
• Test automation proficiency using JUnit.
• Ability to navigate and implement 3rd party API documentation.
• Experience with cloud-first development and automated continuous delivery.
• AWS or similar cloud environment experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UAVs, GPS device units, or DJI Drones.
• Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) user or functional experience, including spatial analysis.
• Agriculture domain knowledge.
