Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs adhering to technical standards and best practices.
• Define API specifications by collaborating with product managers, architects, and developers.
• Mentor the API development team and drive the adoption of API-first principles.
• Monitor and optimize API performance, implementing necessary improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to API integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in API development.
• Proficiency in REST and GraphQL API design and development.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with API management platforms like Kong or Apigee.
• Solid understanding of API security protocols and best practices.
• Ability to design and understand complex software architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure tools like AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and Automation.
