Description

Design, develop, and migrate enterprise APIs and microservices to AWS cloud-native architectures for Payments and Money Movement platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Migrate legacy on-premises services to AWS, leveraging Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Amazon SNS, and SQS for real-time processing.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, API Gateway.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of event streaming with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Payments, Money Movement, or Information Reporting domains.
• Knowledge of API security standards, authentication, and authorization.
