Description

You will design, develop, and migrate enterprise APIs and microservices for Payments and Money Movement platforms to AWS cloud-native architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Migrate existing on-premises services to AWS, leveraging Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3.
• Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, Amazon SNS, and Amazon SQS for real-time payment processing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues using Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in API development and Java/Spring Boot engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Migration strategies and services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3).
• Deep understanding of Payments domain, specifically ACH and RTP (Real Time Payments).
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with containerized applications using Docker and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of API security controls, authentication, and authorization standards.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace, X-Ray, or Grafana.
