Description

Lead a team of 4-6 developers in building and delivering reusable RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team through recruiting, training, and performance evaluation.
• Drive product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress.
• Develop shippable code and ensure architectural adherence to the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with architects and product leaders to negotiate priorities and technical feasibility.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from inception through deprecation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of product development experience as a senior engineer, technical lead, or architect.
• 2-3 years managing hybrid resource environments including contractors and partners.
• Expertise in Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with micro-services architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with CI/CD solutions, Docker, and DevOps principles.
• Knowledge of AWS (EC2 and Lambda).
• Experience with API security frameworks (OAuth, JWT).
• Understanding of message queues, background tasks, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work within Agile/SCRUM environments.
