Description

You will own the development and execution of API automation frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for RESTful APIs using Core Java and Rest Assured.
• Manage and execute test cases using the TestNG framework.
• Validate API functionality, including HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML structures.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test data and follow the full defect lifecycle in QA processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software testing or development.
• Strong programming proficiency in Core Java.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.
• Experience with the TestNG framework for test case management.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines.
• Ability to handle JSON and XML data structures.
