Description

Own the design, implementation, and management of API proxies and the Apigee platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API proxies using Apigee Edge.
• Manage API migrations to the Apigee platform to ensure business continuity.
• Facilitate CI/CD for API proxies and configurations following testing and deployment best practices.
• Manage Apigee platform components including runtime, analytics, and the developer portal.
• Maintain technical documentation for the Apigee platform and associated APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an API Engineer.
• Proven expertise with Apigee Edge.
• Experience migrating APIs to the Apigee platform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of HTTP, XML, and JSON data formats.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
