Description

Lead the design and implementation of automated Appian-based workforce application systems and serve as a technical consultant to peers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead other developers and teams through advanced automated Appian systems development.
• Design and implement independent Appian-based workforce application systems.
• Solve complex problems involving the scheduling, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of software systems.
• Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and software design techniques.
• Document technical issues and prepare concise reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience as a developer/programmer or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of programming experience.
• Appian Senior Developer Certification with recent hands-on experience in application design and implementation.
• 5 years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, SAIL Forms, CDT, records, reports, and integration.
• 5 years of experience with REST Web API development and API integration using MuleSoft.
• 5 years of experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
• 5 years of experience building Appian CDT and integrating with Oracle 11g, DB2, or MySQL databases.
• 3 years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Octane or earlier versions.
• 3 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Axure, or Photoshop.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Lead Developer Certification.
• Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
