Description

You will analyze, code, test, and maintain application software within a mainframe environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior developers and architects to design technical requirements and identify business solutions.
• Write, test, and document code for existing business system applications.
• Support production environments and participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation.
• Mentor less experienced team members on technical processes and procedures.
• Recommend strategies to improve system applications and internal business processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Assembler.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, MQ, and CICS.
• Working knowledge of Mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience working on moderate to complex technical projects.
• Financial domain knowledge, specifically Credit/Debit processing.
• Degree in any graduate field.
