Description

You will design and develop large-scale, real-time, and globally available platforms. You will own backend services end-to-end, including design, coding, code reviews, testing, load testing, launching, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable microservices and data pipelines using Java, Kafka, and Redis.
  • Design and implement SOAP web services and REST APIs.
  • Deploy and manage services on AWS (SQS, SNS, ECS) and Tomcat.
  • Collaborate with product owners and TPMs to meet business requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and apply system design principles.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
  • AWS services: SQS, SNS, ECS.
  • SOAP web services and REST API design.
  • Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong system design and architecture experience.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Serverless (Lambda).
