Description

You will design, develop, and troubleshoot complex database applications using Oracle and PL/SQL. You own the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to production support, ensuring compliance with system architecture and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and document technical subsystems, solutions, and effort estimates based on functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain database applications, implementing fixes and enhancements to meet business needs.
• Execute and review automated and manual unit and integration tests to ensure code quality before production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across production, QA, and other environments.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with System Architects to review and approve designs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database application development.
• Deep proficiency in Oracle, SQL tuning, and PL/SQL.
• Strong expertise in database design and schema optimization.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating with Product Analysts, QA, and PMO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting requirements and resolutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
