Description

You will own the end-to-end execution and stability of business-critical daily production batches.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and resolve failed production batches to ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitor production process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Liaise between multiple vendors and global support teams to resolve batch issues.
• Document issue resolutions and generate monthly performance and issue reports.
• Trace and track production issues to closure through deep database-level analysis.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in production support activities.
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to optimize queries, tune performance, and manage table structures and indexes.
• Strong experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Unix, including command-line operations and file management.
• Experience with shell scripting for automating daily batch reports.
• Background in ETL tools or Ab Initio environments.
• Ability to work onsite in Tampa, FL, 2-3 days per week.
• B.E/ B.Tech. in Computer Science or IT.
