Description

Lead strategic technical direction and architectural design for the sub-function.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and implementation of all technology domains within the sub-function.
• Establish long-range technical direction and evaluate emerging technologies to maintain organizational competitiveness.
• Lead POC delivery, evolve technical solutions, and manage non-technical requirements and compliance.
• Maintain the architectural runway and prioritize enablers to support continuous delivery.
• Mentor engineers and advise solution architects on risks, costs, and technical tradeoffs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering or technical architecture experience.
• Deep technical mastery across at least two domains: APIs, UI, Security, Cloud, Mobile, or DevOps.
• Hands-on software development experience with C#, .NET, or Java.
• Proven experience with APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within AWS environments.
• Proficiency in Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
• Strong ability to communicate technical strategy, complexity mitigation, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• MBA or advanced degree in business or information systems.
• Extensive experience in strategy formulation and business architecture.
