Description

Lead architectural design from concept through construction support, ensuring code compliance and technical precision.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design facility layouts, architectural details, and 3D models while performing building code compliance analyses.
• Coordinate efforts with engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, and construction teams.
• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, conceptual studies, and technical reports.
• Manage procurement by preparing subcontract requisitions and performing technical bid evaluations.
• Mentor subordinate architects and designers on technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and renderings.
• Experience with CADD applications.
• Strong knowledge of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Ability to perform building code analyses and resolve complex regulatory issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with government agencies, specifically the Department of Defense.
• Knowledge of CSI Masterformat specifications, SpecsIntact, Unified Facilities Criteria, or the Whole Building Design Guide.
