Lead technical strategy and architecture design for complex client environments. Guide delivery teams through digital transformation and cloud migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients during pre-sales to provide strategic technical advice and best practices.
• Lead discovery sessions to evaluate existing workloads, infrastructure, and software environments.
• Design target state infrastructure and application architecture with defined delivery paths.
• Evaluate competing technologies to provide optimal architectural recommendations.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in a technology role with responsibility for technical direction.
• 3 years of professional services consulting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Confluent and AWS services for scaling and reliability.
• Deep familiarity with Kafka, KStreams, ksqlDB, Flink, and Kafka Connect.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Ansible.
• Broad knowledge of Linux/Windows systems, messaging/streaming, and data stores.
• Proficiency in application/API design, network protocols, and security architecture.
• Programming experience and familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed processing.
