Description

You will support, enhance, and maintain the statewide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination and ancillary application registration system.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement federal and state mandates using modern integration patterns.
• Convert outdated technologies to modern frameworks to interface with other systems.
• Develop, maintain, and update documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise on system architectures and process enhancements.
• Train end users on software and facilitate technical presentations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, analysis, and design using ASP.NET.
• 10 years of experience with MVC Frameworks (5.0/4.0), including controller actions, views, state management, and security.
• 10 years of experience with automated eligibility determination systems.
• 4 years of experience providing subject matter expertise on system architectures.
• 3 years of experience with system enhancements and process improvements.
• 3 years of experience developing documentation and training end users.
• 2 years of knowledge regarding SNAP and TANF eligibility policies and mandates.
• Proven experience with Webservices, Microservices, SOAP, and RESTful WCF & Web API.
• Experience working with SCRUM/Iteration methodologies and Jira Software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization and migration strategies.
• Familiarity with government compliance and regulatory standards.
