Description

You will design, build, and maintain automation tools for network infrastructure deployment, testing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement auto-remediation functions to monitor, manage, and recover from undesirable network events.
• Build and maintain tools for network infrastructure deployment, testing, and operational functions.
• Integrate industry best practices for network orchestration and create operational standards for monitoring and configuration management.
• Expand monitoring infrastructure by leveraging NetFlow, Streaming Telemetry, and data visualization initiatives.
• Identify operational gaps for upstream and downstream organizations and lead the execution of solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in automation or network engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience working with or creating APIs using SOAP, XMLRPC, REST, JSON, XML, or YAML.
• Hands-on experience with network devices including routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Strong understanding of network routing protocols.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and Docker containers.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Salt.
• Ability to debug issues within custom code efficiently.
• Proficiency with Selenium.
