Description

Architects, builds, and maintains scalable automation solutions for the credit union, serving as the first hire and technical leader for the growing automation team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust automation frameworks using UiPath, including attended and unattended bots, Document Understanding, and AI capabilities.
• Lead solution architecture by reviewing PDDs, creating PDDs/SDDs/DSDs, and defining coding standards and strategic direction.
• Own the automation platform, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure high availability and business continuity.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices, coding standards, and problem-solving approaches while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate daily activities within the Automation Services department alongside the AVP, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring execution.

Required Skills

• 5-8+ years of experience in automation engineering, test automation, or DevOps with a strong hands-on development background.
• Expert-level proficiency in UiPath, including RE Framework, DU Framework, and UiPath Test Manager.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium) and monitoring solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex automation solutions at scale.
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring technical teams.
